Clash Nyanpasu follows the mihomo desktop client path. The download directory on this site provides a Windows option. It is intended for users who understand proxy groups, rule matching, configuration overrides, and external control, and want to organize their local setup in greater detail.

It does not solve configuration problems simply by adding more switches. Before use, confirm that the subscription is valid, proxy group references are correct, and the rules include a final match for otherwise unhandled traffic. Also avoid conflicts between local overrides and subscription fields. For complex troubleshooting, logs and the final effective configuration are more useful than what the interface displays.

Clash for Windows

Discontinued

Clash for Windows is the classic desktop client used in many older tutorials and follows the original Clash path. Its Profiles, Proxies, and General labels still appear in legacy documentation, making it useful for identifying older configurations and migration steps.

Discontinued status means it is no longer suitable as the foundation for a new long-term setup. When migrating, export or record the subscription URL, current proxy group selections, and local overrides, then move to Clash Plus, Clash Verge Rev, FlClash, or Clash Nyanpasu. Do not copy every legacy interface option blindly; use the configuration actually generated by the new client as the reference.

Clash Meta for Android is built for Android and provides controls for proxies, configurations, overrides, logs, settings, and external control. It suits users who need connection logs, TUN, DNS hijacking, or per-app traffic routing.

Android typically allows only one app to control the system VPN interface at a time. Before enabling the client, check other VPNs, filtering tools, and work profiles for active traffic interception. If internet access stops after startup, check the current configuration, proxy group, DNS, TUN settings, and per-app routing in order instead of repeatedly reinstalling the app.

Rule-focused users

Surfboard is an Android rule-based proxy client with an independent implementation that supports common Clash configurations and rule syntax. It suits users who understand domain rules, IP rules, proxy groups, and configuration file structure and want rule-based routing on Android.

Because its implementation path differs, do not assume that every Meta- or mihomo-specific field will work directly. Check the supported field range before importing a complex configuration. If the configuration combines results from multiple subscription converters, validate basic proxies and simple rules first, then add DNS, scripts, or extension fields gradually.
